The Scharzhofberger Kabinett offers a subtle, fine mineral fragrance with ripe orange fruit and the fine piquancy of fresh meadow herbs. The palate is surprised by a delicately sweet spice with a lot of grinding and a very nice integrated saltiness. In the straight-lined departure again fruity to fine tart mineral. A perfect finish, carried by a very precise acidity. Will mature to complex spice!

The Saar is the largest tributary of the Mosel. The winegrowing area extends from Serrig to the mouth of the Saar River at Konz, as the crow flies about twelve kilometers upstream. The acreage of the Saar region is rather small with about 750 hectares. Nevertheless, there are numerous excellent vineyards, some on steep slopes.More wines from the region
