Hörecker Monopollage Riesling feinherb 2019
The monopollage Kanzemer Hörecker is an enclave within the Kanzemer Altenberg and with its up to 130 old Riesling vines is the heart of this impressive vineyard. The nose reveals the finely tart Riesling with typical slate scents and herbal nuances and some spices. The palate is powerful with extraordinary play, carried by ripe local fruit and great mineral expression. Extremely present and elegant acidity. The powerful slate minerality extends to the salty finale. A spicy-baroque Riesling of a great kind!
