The impressive steep slope facing south/southwest comprises 6 hectares with a slope gradient of up to 50 percent. The stony, barren soil in the Dominikanerberg is characterised by the blue Devonian weathered slate, which gives the Riesling growing here its incomparable "noblesse". Here grow Riesling wines that have an independent character and above-average ageing potential. The Dominikanerberg is one of the highest situated vineyards in the Ruwer Valley and reaches up to 350m above sea level. According to its quality, the Dominikanerberg is exclusively planted with Riesling vines.
