Niedermenniger Sonnenberg Riesling Spätlese Alte Reben feinherb 2020
The off-dry Spätlese comes from a root-rich sector in the Niedermenniger Sonnenberg. The hundred-year-old vines are deeply rooted in the gray slate of the Niedermenniger Sonnenberg and produce elegant and fine-breed Riesling wines year after year. Thus, the fine tart Spätlese shows itself in the fragrance with ripe yellow fruit, some apple peel, orange zest and lemon balm. The palate is juicy with a pronounced minerality and a finesse-rich acid structure. The fine sweetness shows melting and is carried by a salty mineral foundation. Shows good length in the lemony tart-sweet finish. Good future potential!

Weingut Stefan Müller
In 2016, Stefan Müller won the “Young Winegrower of the Year” award on the Saar. No wonder with these grandiose Riesling wines, which are typical Saar. They have a crisp and fresh character with plenty of substance.

Saar Region
The Saar is the largest tributary of the Mosel. The winegrowing area extends from Serrig to the mouth of the Saar River at Konz, as the crow flies about twelve kilometers upstream. The acreage of the Saar region is rather small with about 750 hectares. Nevertheless, there are numerous excellent vineyards, some on steep slopes.
