In past times the Herrenberg was always in the shadow of the Abtsberg. Due to the changing climatic conditions, however, the Rieslings of the two sites are now in no way inferior in quality. The wines of the Herrenberger also possess an extraordinary
ability to develop and can mature over decades. And never before has Herrenberg presented itself as sublime as in the 2019 vintage. In the yellow-fruity Näs'chen, the Herrenberg Kabinett presents itself with aromas of mirabelle, pear fruit, mango, peach and lemon. Among the yellow fruit aromas there is wet flint in the base. The palate meets juicy gooseberry and crisp citrus fruit as well as a delicate refreshing mint. The vital acidity is in absolute balance with the fruity sweetness and gives the Kabinett its piquant character. The minty freshness extends into the endless finish. Great Kabinett!
