Maximin Grünhaus
Abtsberg Riesling Spätlese 2019
The Spätlese from the Abtsberg still shows a very youthful, reduced play in the nose. Initially, the smells of spontaneous fermentation dominate. Only with a little air do fruity aromas of mandarin, yellow stone fruit, apricot and grapefruit open up. On the palate then flashes brightly with a brilliant sweet-acid game, some yeast and a full-bodied fruit of honeydew melon, cassis, mango and tender-sweet peach fruit. The delicately layered minerality shows a lot of slate and smoke. A late vintage with lots of juice and mineral spice. Perfect with spicy Asian cuisine.

Ruwer Region
The small Ruwer River winds its way from the Hochwald through a narrow valley, surrounded by forests, meadows, and imposing vineyards. Between Sommerau and its outlet, at the Mosel River, east of Trier, wine has been cultivated here for over 2,000 years.
