Maximin Grünhaus
Abtsberg Riesling Spätlese 2018
Initially smoky aromas of spontaneous fermentation, then wonderfully fruity notes of pear, quince, apricot and a touch of lychee. On the palate it is playful with a delicate ripe and piquant acidity. The wine is multi-layered, juicy and characterised by a fine mineral saltiness. The finish is intense, long and offers an enticing and persistent presence. The sweetness is optimally balanced by the vibrating acidity. Sexy Spätlese!

Ruwer Region
The small Ruwer River winds its way from the Hochwald through a narrow valley, surrounded by forests, meadows, and imposing vineyards. Between Sommerau and its outlet, at the Mosel River, east of Trier, wine has been cultivated here for over 2,000 years.
