Maximin Grünhaus
Abtsberg Riesling Auslese 2019
The Auslese from the Abtsberg shows a completely undeveloped nose in the glass in the first few minutes, but with increasing air it presents itself ever more noble, almost aristocratic. In addition to the clear yeast notes, fruity aromas of mandarin orange, apricot puree, candied grapefruit, raspberry and pear compote now open up. These are joined by floral nuances of elderflower, meadow flowers and mint. The palate is surrounded by a mineral-herbal extract with a lot of polish and crystal clear exotic fruit and a subtle vanilla note. The minerality is darkly woven and appears more complex and intense with every sip. The acidity takes hold at the right moment and accompanies the long animating sweet finish. A powerful selection of the finest kind - great wine!

Ruwer Region
The small Ruwer River winds its way from the Hochwald through a narrow valley, surrounded by forests, meadows, and imposing vineyards. Between Sommerau and its outlet, at the Mosel River, east of Trier, wine has been cultivated here for over 2,000 years.
