The Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese from the Wehlener Sonnenuhr unfolds a unique power in the sparkling clean bouquet. A never-before-smelled complexity rises to the nose. The aromas are clear, deep and concentrated. Tropical candied fruit, fresh quince, overripe pineapple, acacia honey and at the very end white flowers and delicate floral nuances. Dense but fresh and youthful on the palate with enormous finesse and a very complex and demanding sweetness-acidity game. The taste of the Trockenbeerenauslese is fulminant, exotic and tropical fruits present themselves in an explosive complexity. Despite the high extract, the wine appears fine-radiated and light-footed. The acidity acts like a sharpened sword and gives this noble sweet grace its incredible depth and elegance. An eternal finish with a delicate, salty mineral structure. Holy!

Today, the traditional Weingut Max Ferd. Richter is run by Dr. Dirk Richter who is the 9th generation at the estate. Since the summer of 2012, his son, Constantin, is also working at the winery.
