The off-dry Piesporter Riesling is still somewhat restrained on the nose. Floral aromas and delicately fruity notes of apricot and green apple define the bouquet. On the palate, however, it is expressive with lots of juicy fruit and a lovely stimulating freshness. The Piesporter feinherb seems slightly sweet rounded, but has a very racy sweetness-acidity play and a nice mineral kick. A wine that certainly does not need a big occasion, but will always be a real drinking pleasure.
