The dry three-star Goldtröpfchen shows its demanding mineral character already in the nose. The smoky, slatey flinty note dominates the delicate spice aromas and yellow fruit notes that lie dormant deep underground. Clear and steely on the palate with lots of inner tension and enormous pressure. Shows salty and earthy, mineral-tart accents with red berry fruit and minty spice. Intense acidity on the bone-dry finish. A very impressive, self-confident Riesling with great potential.
