The Riesling "Hermann" is an ovation to the founder and namesake of the Hermann Ludes winery and represents the brilliant introduction to Julian Ludes' current collection. Even as a "basic" Riesling, it clearly shows the cool, reserved and very noble style. The bouquet is very delicate and filigree, with an appealing spicy slate note and a young and neat Sponti tone. A delicate yellow fruitiness, reminiscent of mirabelle and rock pear, hovers quietly over everything. Cool and penetrating on the palate with a lively acid structure and a nicely integrated smoky minerality. The wine never seems loud or forced, everything is proportioned and balanced in fine nuances. The finish is taut with the finest sea salt in the aftertaste.

The grapes for the Blauschiefer Riesling come from the Leiwener Klostergarten. The slate soil here, which shimmers bluish in the sunlight, gave its name to Alexander Loersch's entry-level Riesling. Even in the basic Riesling, Alexander's characteristic handwriting can be clearly tasted. Spontaneously fermented in stainless steel, the Blauschiefer Riesling shows a very elegant and very clear, finely fruity nose with a strong mineral undertone. Refreshingly juicy on the palate with lots of yellow fruit. The finely spicy yeast tones and the racy, vibrant play of the finely placed acidity give the Blauschiefer Riesling a captivating drinking flow and a very special mineral kick! The off-dry Piesporter Riesling is still somewhat restrained on the nose. Floral aromas and delicately fruity notes of apricot and green apple define the bouquet. On the palate, however, it is expressive with lots of juicy fruit and a lovely stimulating freshness. The Piesporter off-dry seems slightly sweet rounded, but has a very racy sweetness-acidity play and a nice mineral kick. A wine that certainly does not need a big occasion, but will always be a real drinking pleasure.

The hand-harvested grapes for this fine-tart estate Riesling come exclusively from the two vineyard sites Mülheimer Sonnenlay and Brauneberger Klostergarten. This fruity and fresh Riesling with its ripe fruit notes and a subtle, playful sweetness is literally a "good mood" Riesling that you really can't get enough of. This is a lot of juice for the money and a great drinking pleasure for many occasions. We recommend the light Asian cuisine or as a welcome companion to the next BBQ party!

A dry Riesling, grown on barren slate rock, which conveys the very own typicality of the Winningen terroir in an unadulterated way. The nose is earthy and spicy with the delicate fruit of mirabelles and the beguiling scent of light herbs. Light-footed and drinkable on the palate despite all the substance. Very clear impression in the mouth. Fresh, lemony acidity and some fruit reminiscent of yellow stone fruit. Fine mineral nuances and a spicy, tartly elegant finish with a lightly salted aftertaste. Well done, respect!
