Dr. Wagner
Ockfener Bockstein Riesling Auslese 2019
The Auslese from the Ockfener Bockstein presents itself in the nose with a very complex play of fruity sweet aromas. The bouquet is clearly juicy peach, candied fruit, blood orange, mango and apricot. The palate is met by a fresh and piquant play of acidity with tart minerality and a cornucopia of fruity aromas and a touch of mint. In its way direct and clear with lots of pressure. Very good finish and delicately melting in the long aftertaste. May well be stored for a few more years, will grow big!

Saar Region
The Saar is the largest tributary of the Mosel. The winegrowing area extends from Serrig to the mouth of the Saar River at Konz, as the crow flies about twelve kilometers upstream. The acreage of the Saar region is rather small with about 750 hectares. Nevertheless, there are numerous excellent vineyards, some on steep slopes.
