What madness... what a Trockenbeerenauslese. The Würzgarten lies directly upstream from the Erdener vineyards, but produces a completely different kind of large Riesling. The nose is overwhelming! Cotton candy, almond cream, dried strawberries, dates, raisins, pineapple and fine spices are concentrated and perceptible. On the palate it is complex and multi-layered with exotic spicy aromas. A wine with great depth and an astounding mineral and spicy finish. PERFECT!
