The Erdener Prälat is a vineyard site surrounded by rocks and is known for its exceptional warm microclimate. Typical for the Erdener Prälat are elegant, mineral Riesling wines with an independent character and complex fruiting bodies.  The Goldkapsel Auslese from the Erdener Prälat offers a beguilingly noble nose of exotic fruit, a differentiated mineral play with delicate herbal nuances and smoky slate. On the palate then quite big cinema! Intense, herbal mineral melt with great spice and depth. Already perfect harmony and balance between abyssal minerality and fruit. The fruity body shows aromas of boiled apricot, figs and compote of red berry fruits. Everything is wrapped up in fine caramel notes. The play of acids is perfectly integrated and gives the mineral sweet spice its vibrating foundation. A great, almost monumental selection in old style!
