The dry Spätlese from the Dominican Hill offers a fine herbal nose with some floral-floral notes, gooseberry and hawthorn. On the palate straightforward, piquant and tart with fruit of green apple and lime. In the finish discreet tannin and present, almost salty minerality. A powerful Ruwer Riesling with lots of energy and ageing potential.
