C. von Nell-Breuning
Kaseler Dominikanerberg Riesling Alte Reben trocken 2019
Breuning family. The steep slope with its south-southwest orientation covers six hectares of vineyards and is dominated by stony and barren soil. The Riesling old vines come from the oldest vines, which by nature only produce very low yields. The old vines, which are deeply rooted in the mineral foundation of the mountain, characterize this exciting Riesling and give it its profound complexity. In the still young nose, a highly mineral scent of wet stone and slate unfolds. On the palate great elegance with almost perfect balance and an animatingly racy acidity. The fruit still appears restrained and is subject to the powerful minerality. A mighty dry Riesling from the heart of the Dominkanerberg.
